Programs for Students

World-leading learning and development programs for educational settings.

Adaptive Mindset for Resilience

The Adaptive Mindset for Resilience Student program uses evidence-based practices to show students how to develop their ability to adapt to pressure and the constant change that characterises the world today. This program takes students beyond resilience to adaptability by providing them training to adjust their thinking and behaviour. It is a training program rather than an awareness creating exercise. Students develop specific mindsets and behaviours that can be observed and reinforced by teachers, peers and parents. This program shows students how to develop their ability to adapt to a wide range of school and home situations so that they can thrive under pressure and adversity.

Adaptive Mindset for Resilience is a modular program that focuses on student thinking and behaviour in three distinct areas: how they filter information and interpret what happens to them, how they act under pressure and how they interact with others under pressure. During the program, students complete a self-assessment, identify key resilience strengths and focus on specific adaptability strategies.

In order to best cater for the unique behavioural and cognitive development of each student two separate programs are offered for:

Grade 6 students, and

Years 9 – 10 students.

Adaptive Mindset for Resilience is designed to be delivered by accredited teachers and school psychologists / counsellors but can also be delivered by the Social Intelligence Group.
